Glock 23 Gen 5 .40 S&W

Updated August 24, 2026

This Glock 23 Gen5 semi-automatic pistol is chambered in .40 S&W and represents the newest-generation evolution of one of Glock’s classic compact service pistols. Serial number BYSK261, this example features an approximately 4" barrel with a shiny bore and remains in good overall condition. The pistol utilizes Glock’s durable polymer frame with updated Gen5 grip texture and ergonomics, paired with a steel optic-cut slide and striker-fired operating system. One magazine is included. This example needs a thorough cleaning and shows accumulated grime consistent with use, though its underlying configuration remains appealing. The Glock 23 has long been closely associated with the .40 S&W cartridge and law-enforcement service, while the Gen5 platform adds more modern refinements and optic capability. With its optic-ready slide, compact frame, shiny bore, and substantial chambering, this is a solid modern Glock that should clean up nicely. Please see photos.
