Smith & Wesson M&P9 Shield 9mm

This Smith & Wesson M&P9 Shield semi-automatic pistol is chambered in 9mm and represents the original generation of one of Smith & Wesson’s most successful modern compact handgun families. Serial number HTA4655, this example features an approximately 3" barrel with a shiny bore and remains in good overall condition. The pistol utilizes a slim polymer frame with a textured synthetic grip paired with a steel slide and striker-fired operating system. One magazine is included. Introduced in 2012, the M&P Shield quickly became a major addition to Smith & Wesson’s handgun lineup, combining the familiar styling and controls of the larger M&P series with a significantly slimmer and more compact frame. Its success eventually led to numerous later variations, including the Shield M2.0 and Shield Plus. With its classic first-generation configuration, shiny bore, good overall condition, and popular 9mm chambering, this is a solid example of an important modern Smith & Wesson design.
