Smith & Wesson Model 1905 .38 SPL

This Smith & Wesson Model 1905 4th Change double-action/single-action revolver is chambered in .38 Special and represents a classic piece of early 20th-century Smith & Wesson revolver history. Serial number C128615, this example features an approximately 4" barrel with a shiny bore and is in fair overall condition. The revolver is built around a traditional steel frame with an exposed hammer, swing-out cylinder, and classic grip profile. Plenty of finish loss, handling marks, and general wear are present throughout, giving this revolver an honest, well-used vintage appearance. The Model 1905 series played an important role in the development of Smith & Wesson’s legendary Military & Police revolver family, and the 4th Change variation became an especially long-running version of the design. Chambered in the enduring .38 Special cartridge, this example offers the collector an opportunity to own a genuine piece of vintage Smith & Wesson craftsmanship with plenty of age and character.
