This Smith & Wesson Model 46-1 double-action/single-action revolver is chambered in .38 Special and offers the classic styling and craftsmanship long associated with Smith & Wesson wheelguns. Serial number 534J46, this example features an approximately 3" barrel with a shiny bore and remains in good overall condition. The revolver is built around a steel frame with a traditional exposed hammer, swing-out cylinder, and handsome wood grips that give the firearm a timeless appearance. The 3" barrel provides a nicely balanced profile, falling between the compact proportions of a snub-nose revolver and the longer lines of a full-size sporting model.
