Heckler & Koch VP40 .40 S&W

This Heckler & Koch VP40 semi-automatic pistol is chambered in .40 S&W and represents the larger-caliber counterpart to H&K’s highly successful VP9 platform. Serial number 222-041774, this example features an approximately 4" barrel with a shiny bore and presents in excellent overall condition. The pistol utilizes a durable polymer frame with H&K’s highly ergonomic textured synthetic grip paired with a steel slide and striker-fired operating system. The distinctive rear charging supports and interchangeable grip components associated with the VP family remain part of the design. Two magazines are included along with the original Heckler & Koch hard case, making this an especially clean and complete package. The VP series brought H&K’s engineering heritage into the modern striker-fired handgun market, while the VP40 offered the platform in the substantial .40 S&W cartridge. With excellent condition, two magazines, original factory case, German pedigree, and a less-common chambering than the VP9, this is an appealing pistol for the serious H&K collector.
