Smith & Wesson M&P5.7 5.7x28mm

Updated August 24, 2026

This Smith & Wesson M&P 5.7 semi-automatic pistol is chambered in the increasingly popular 5.7x28mm cartridge and represents one of the more technologically interesting additions to Smith & Wesson’s modern M&P lineup. Serial number EHP8079, this example features an approximately 5" threaded barrel with a shiny bore and remains in good overall condition. The pistol utilizes a textured synthetic grip and polymer frame paired with a steel slide, maintaining the recognizable ergonomics and styling of the M&P family. The slide is factory optic-cut, allowing the next owner to add a compatible electronic sight, while the threaded barrel adds another desirable factory feature. One magazine is included. Smith & Wesson introduced the M&P 5.7 as its entry into the growing 5.7x28mm handgun market, incorporating the company’s Tempo barrel system into a slim, full-size platform. With its distinctive chambering, threaded 5" barrel, optic-ready slide, and proven M&P heritage, this is an appealing modern pistol for the Smith & Wesson enthusiast. Please see photos.
