Vintage Durbin Cast Iron Cattle Horn Weights – Matching Set A fantastic find for collectors of western Americana, agricultural oddities, or rustic industrial decor. This is a matching group of four antique cast iron bull/cattle horn weights manufactured by the Durbin Company of St. Louis, Missouri. Historically, these heavy thimble-shaped pieces were clamped onto the horns of young bulls or heifers to gradually train and curve the growth of their horns downward for safety and aesthetics on the ranch. Today, they are highly sought after as industrial paperweights, conversation pieces, or unique shelf decor.
