The front shows a portrait of a young Derek Jeter in his Greensboro Hornets minor league uniform against a red ruby-themed background. The corners show some visible wear and minor white chipping, particularly on the bottom right and top left edges. The centering on the front appears slightly shifted toward the bottom. The reverse side features a gold-colored foil strip indicating a limited production run of only 2500 made. No specific metal content or precious metal purity is indicated on the card surface; the gold and ruby elements are part of the printed design and finish. The historical context reflects Jeter's early professional career following his selection as the sixth overall pick in the 1992 MLB draft. There is no professional grading service label present. The strike type is a standard commercial offset lithography print with foil stamping for the limited edition numbering.
