1982-D KENNEDY HALF DOLLAR BU IN INB SLAB 1982-D Kennedy Half Dollar Brilliant Uncirculated INB Slabbed Condition: This 1982-D Kennedy Half Dollar is housed in an International Numismatic Bureau (INB) slab and is designated as Brilliant Uncirculated. The coin exhibits original mint luster with some noticeable surface abrasions and bag marks consistent with uncirculated coins of this era. The Denver mint mark is clearly visible on the obverse above the date. The metal content consists of a copper-nickel clad composition, featuring an outer layer of 75% copper and 25% nickel bonded to a core of pure copper. Historically, the 1982-D Kennedy Half Dollar represents a standard circulation strike from the Denver Mint, following the design introduced in 1964 to honor President John F. Kennedy. This particular strike type is a business strike intended for general commerce, though it has been preserved in a numismatic holder. No numeric grade is provided on the INB label.
