1985 S Copper Lincoln Cent NGC PF 69 Ultra Cameo 1985 S Lincoln Memorial Cent NGC PF 69 Ultra Cameo RD Copper Condition: This specimen is professionally graded by NGC as PF 69 Ultra Cameo RD, indicating a near-perfect proof coin with exceptional eye appeal. The RD (Red) designation confirms the coin retains its original mint luster and copper color without significant oxidation. As an Ultra Cameo strike, there is a sharp, frosted contrast between the raised devices and the deeply mirrored fields. The coin was struck at the San Francisco Mint, denoted by the S mint mark. This piece is composed of copper-plated zinc, which was the standard metal content for the Lincoln Cent following the 1982 transition from solid bronze. Historically, these proof sets were produced specifically for collectors using specially polished dies and planchets to showcase the artistry of Victor David Brenner's obverse design and Frank Gasparro's Memorial reverse. 1985 S, Lincoln Cent, Penny, NGC, PF 69 RD Ultra Cameo, Proof, Graded, Numismatic, Coin Collecting, San Francisco Mint, Memorial Reverse, Copper, Bullion, United States Currency, 1C 1985-S Lincoln Cent, NGC PF 69 RD Ultra Cameo, Proof Penny, Numismatic Guaranty Company, Rare Coins, Collectible Penny, US Mint, San Francisco Mint, Lincoln Memorial Cent, Graded Coins IMPORTANT BIDDER NOTICE Bidder is solely responsible for determining value, condition, completeness, authenticity, fitment, grade, and usefulness before bidding.
