Oak Trestle Work Table 59 Inch Needs Repair

Oak veneered trestle table or writing desk measuring about 59 and a half inches long and 28 inches tall, with two solid panel ends carrying applied spool turned half columns at the front corners and full turned spindles at the rear corners over a flat back stretcher, assembled with exposed screws. The pale blond finish appears stripped or sanded back and never refinished. No maker mark. Read this before bidding, because the seller called it a groove and it is not. The veneered top has separated from its applied rear edge band along an open ragged split running roughly 35 to 40 inches of the top length, about an inch and a half in from the back edge, with the far lip raised enough to catch a fingernail, plus a short leg turning toward the front and a second opened miter at the right rear corner.
