Round tripod pedestal side table in the Duncan Phyfe revival taste, most likely 1930s to 1950s, with a reeded urn turned pedestal over three sabre curved splayed legs and a gadrooned apron edge molding. The claw feet are cast metal caps with a dark oxidized patina, not carved wood, which buyers often assume. No maker mark. The pencil markings on the underside are dimensional notations, not a signature. Read the condition carefully. The top has been stripped to bare raw wood and never refinished, with cross grain sanding scratches, open glue line gaps between the top boards and dark residual stain streaks, while the base keeps its original dark mahogany finish. It photographs as two different pieces. The frame is sound with all three feet present. Condition is fair and this is a refinishing project. Sold as-is.
