This is a Lionel O gauge diesel locomotive decorated for the Burlington railroad, road number 228. The model features a silver body with "BURLINGTON" lettering on the sides and "Burlington Route" emblems on the cab. Markings include "Built by Lionel" on the side panel. The locomotive is equipped with a red frame and railings. Visible wear is present, including paint loss and surface corrosion, particularly near the cab, along the frame, and around the deck areas. The operational status is untested.
