Four Lionel 6465 Sun Oil Tank Cars

This lot includes four Lionel model 6465 tank cars, O scale. Each car features a silver-painted tank with black underframe and trucks. The lettering on the tanks reads 'Built by Lionel,' 'U.S. Safety Appliance Standard,' 'A.R.A. Spec. III A.C.&F. Co. 5-23,' 'Safety Valves,' and 'Tested 3-31-25 Pressure 25 lbs. at Marcus Hook Pa. by Sun Oil Co.' The road number 6465 is printed on the tank body. All items show visible paint wear, surface scratches, and signs of handling consistent with use. One original Lionel box is included and has train in it.
