2 Vintage Kitchen Scales, Bestway & Montgomery War

Updated August 24, 2026

Both scales have wear from age, use, and storage, including chipped paint, scratches, scuffs, surface grime, and areas of rust/oxidation. The platforms, housings, and dial faces all show evidence of prior use. Both mechanisms move, but accuracy has not been verified. Please review all photographs carefully for the complete condition. Pair of vintage countertop mechanical scales, each with a large round dial and raised weighing platform. The white and blue scale is marked Bestway and "Weighs 25 Pounds by Ounces - Not Legal for Trade." It features a white enamel-finished body, blue-and-white dial, and red pointer. The cream and black scale is marked Montgomery Ward - Family Scale and "Not Legal in Trade." It has a black-and-white numbered dial, cream-painted metal housing, and adjustable platform. A nice pair of old-fashioned household scales with strong vintage kitchen, general store, farmhouse, and advertising dcor appeal.
