Charming pair of vintage oval ceramic wall plaques featuring elegant Art Deco-style ladies in fashionable wide-brimmed hats. One portrait features a dramatic purple bow, while the second depicts a lady accompanied by a small dog. Both pieces are dimensional relief designs with hand-painted details and molded oval borders in an aged bronze/gold-tone finish. The reverse sides are impressed “© Duncan Ceramic Prod. Inc. 1975” and each bears a handwritten “D. Amsden 4/76” marking, indicating they were decorated or completed in 1976. Wonderful examples of 1970s decorative ceramic art with strong Art Deco revival styling. Sold together as a matching pair. Vintage pre-owned condition with visible age-related wear, paint loss, surface marks, discoloration, and wear around the borders. Please review all photos carefully for condition and details.
