A large rectangular wall mirror featuring a wide moulded frame with a tiered profile and a distressed silver-gilt finish. The design follows a Rococo revival style, with ornate foliate and shell-form scrollwork ornaments applied to each of the four corners. The clear mirror plate is finished with a wide perimeter bevel. A hand-written label is adhered to the upper edge of the frame. Dimensions: H approx 103 cm x W approx 80 cm (measured against a ruler). Condition: The frame remains in good overall condition, with the observed distressing being an intentional part of the decorative finish. There are some minor surface scuffs and marks consistent with domestic use. The mirror glass is well-preserved, with no significant foxing or loss of silvering.
