Contemporary trompe l'oeil wall sculpture hand-carved from a light-toned wood. The set comprises a flat cap with a central sunburst motif, a folded umbrella featuring a curved hook handle and pleated canopy, and a long fringed scarf draped in two sections. The sculptures are displayed on a matching wooden wall rack with four circular pegs. The pieces demonstrate detailed woodworking, including textured tassels on the scarf and individual ribs on the umbrella. Both the umbrella and the face of the wall rack bear the incised signature of the artist, Audrey McLeod. Each component is designed with a flat, unfinished reverse for flush mounting against a wall surface. Rack width: approx. 25 inches (measured against a ruler) Umbrella length: approx. 28 inches (measured against a ruler). Condition: The set is in good overall condition, showing minor surface scuffs and light wear consistent with age and decorative use. The wood remains structurally sound with no evidence of major cracks or repairs. The reverse of each piece is intentionally unfinished.
