A large eighteen-light chandelier featuring a cast metal frame with an antiqued patina and scrolled foliate ornamentation. The fixture is designed in two tiers, supporting twelve lights on the lower level and six lights on the upper level. The central column is of baluster form, decorated with cast fluting and acanthus leaf motifs. Each arm terminates in a scalloped bobeche with pendant crystals, supporting a white plastic candle-form sleeve and a candelabra-base socket. The chandelier is dressed with faceted glass pendeloques and octagonal buttons attached by wire links. An assortment of detached crystal elements is included. Diameter approx. 32 inches (measured against a ruler). LOCATED IN THE BASEMENT. Condition: The chandelier exhibits a heavy accumulation of dust and surface oxidation to the metal frame. The electrical wiring is cut at the top mounting point. Numerous crystal pendants are detached and stored separately; the complete count of crystal elements is unverified. The item is sold as found and requires professional rewiring and cleaning.
