Spill Vase with Figural Embellishments. This is a delicate antique "Old Paris" porcelain spill vase, likely dating from the late 19th or early 20th century, in the style of Jacob Petit. It features a pale green glaze with hand-painted gilt accents along the rim and base, which exhibits a scrolling foliate pattern. The body of the vase is adorned with two applied figural elements, each depicting a small bird or quail within a decorative cartouche, rendered with fine detail and color. The rim flares outwards into a petal-like shape, further enhanced by the gold trim. Its diminutive size suggests it was intended for a single bloom or as a decorative accent piece. The style and form are highly characteristic of "Vieux Paris" porcelain.
