Jean E. Smith hand-blown studio art glass centerpiece bowl featuring a sculptural low-profile form with an organically shaped, undulating rim. The glass displays a luminous iridescent finish in shifting shades of lavender, purple, pink, green and gold, accented by delicate free-form linear inclusions throughout. Raised central foot with polished pontil to the underside, signed "Jean E. Smith" and dated '03. Good overall condition. 11" x 8 1/4" x 3 1/2". Jean E. Smith is an American studio glass artist whose work includes hand-blown decorative vessels characterized by organic forms and iridescent surface treatments.
