Lladro gres porcelain figurine titled "Couple from the Arctic," #2038, depicting two Arctic children warmly embracing in winter clothing. Designed by Juan Huerta and first issued in 1971, the sculpture features the earthy, muted palette and textured glazing characteristic of Lladro's gres production. The model is now retired. A charming larger-scale Lladro composition with finely modeled facial features, layered garments, and contrasting glazed and matte surfaces. Good overall condition. 13" tall.
