Vintage Schrade Cut Co. double-blade automatic switchblade knife featuring butterscotch swirl celluloid handles and two carbon steel blades measuring approximately 2" and 2 1/2". Tang marked "Schrade Cut Co., Walden, N.Y." with U.S. patent dates Dec. 21, 1909; Sept. 13, 1910; and June 6, 1916, dating production to the early 20th century after the final patent was issued. These patent dates correspond to George and Jacob Schrade's automatic knife mechanisms and place this example within the desirable Schrade Cut Co. era. Knife measures approximately 7" overall when open. Shows honest age-related wear, oxidation, and pitting to the blades consistent with age and use. The celluloid handles remain intact with attractive butterscotch coloration. Note: Illinois buyers must possess a valid FOID (Firearm Owner's Identification) Card to purchase this knife.
