Collection of four distinctive walking sticks and canes displaying a variety of folk art and natural-material construction. Includes a cane decorated with a long section of stacked shark vertebrae beneath a dark wood handle; a slender carved and decorated wood cane with a stylized serpent or animal-form handle; a rustic natural branch walking stick with carved details and attached whistle; and a decorative walking stick featuring leather wrapping, woven accents, fringe and wrist strap. An unusual grouping with strong folk art, ethnographic and natural-history character. Condition varies with age-related wear, surface marks and losses; dark wood handle on shark vertebrae cane has a visible crack. 30"-46" long.
