Two large industrial shipping crates constructed from horizontal wood planks with internal corner block reinforcements and metal nail fasteners. The exterior of the larger crate features black stenciled branding for Cluett, Peabody and Co., Inc. of Troy, New York. The wood of both crates display a weathered patina with varying tones and historical markings consistent with early twentieth century commercial transport. 39 x 19 x 13.5 inches.The crate exhibits significant age-related wear, including dark liquid staining, surface grime, and splintering along the top edges.
