This lot features olive drab canvas and nylon field gear including a Signal Corps flag kit case and an M1961 field pack. Several ALICE-style ammunition pouches with plastic quick-release latches and a specialized acid-protective utilitybag with interior loops are also included. The items exhibit stenciled U.S. Army markings, Signal Corps insignia, and manufacturer information from Approved Safety Products Inc. Construction represents the transition from heavy canvas tonylon webbing used by the military in the late 20th century. The gear demonstrates significant signs of heavy field use, including fraying to the nylon edges, various stains, and general fading. Metal hardware shows surface oxidation and paint loss throughout. One ammunition pouch is missing the plastic latch.
