A pair of decorative items by Jay Strongwater consisting of a miniature picture frame and a hat-form trinket box, both including their original designer boxes. The miniature picture frame features a gold-tone scalloped and beaded borderfinished in purple and fuchsia sunburst guilloche enamel, accented with a dragonfly figurine set with multi-colored crystals. The reverse is finished in marbled green enamel and bears a raised JAY STRONGWATER mark. The trinket box isdesigned as a wide-brimmed hat in translucent red guilloche enamel over a textured metal base, decorated with a black enameled flower and green crystal-set leaves. The hat crown is hinged and opens to a yellow enameled interior withmagnetic closures. Frame: 2.75 x 2.75 inches.These decorative items show mostly expected wear due to their age and use. Both pieces remain in overall good condition with minor residue to the frame insert and light shelf wear to the boxes. Frame: 2.75 x 2.75 inches.
