"Wrong Note" by Ohio artist Carol M. Hershey, titled, signed and dated "July '79", sepia-toned zinc-plate proof etching, depicting an elderly piano teacher instructing a young girl, matted and framed under glass, the back having a sticker for Stuart's Art Center of Indianapolis, image 8 1/4" x 7 7/8", frame 13 5/8" x 12 3/4", artwork, and mat in great condition, some wear to the frame. Hershey is known for producing limited-edition prints and etchings that were numbered, but her proofs were unnumbered. This is believed to be one of those. The founder and owner of High Road Gallery in Worthington, Ohio, Hershey died in 2024 at the age of 85.
