A vintage Italian cast brass mechanical corkscrew featuring a Rococo scroll handle and openwork frame. The central body is cast with a heraldic shield motif, housing a steel worm with a continuous thread drive mechanism and a flanged base ring. Styled with acanthus scrollwork throughout, exhibiting aged surface patina and verdigris accents.
