Vintage set of four Hornsea Pottery egg cups in the "Bronte" pattern, designed by John Clappison. Produced in England in 1972, featuring a distinctive glazed geometric motif in rich brown and olive-green tones. 1.5 x 1.75 in Collector's Note: John Clappison (British, 1937–2013) was an influential English industrial ceramic designer. As Chief Designer for Hornsea Pottery from 1958, he defined post-war British tableware through innovative wax-resist glazing techniques and iconic graphic patterns including Heirloom, Saffron, and Bronte.
