molded in red plastic to resemble a Western six-shot revolver. These quirky toothbrushes were created during the 1950s cowboy craze in the United States. They were designed to make dental hygiene exciting for reluctant children by combining a standard nylon bristle brush with the look of a popular Wild West pistol. Many versions featured the words "Gun Brush" engraved on the body along with "Pat. Pend." and "Made in USA" stamped on the handle butt. See pics
