Paul Coker Jr. (American, 1929-2022) Ink and watercolor drawing on paper depicting multiple expressive studies of Ebenezer Scrooge rendered in a lively caricature style. The composition presents the character in various poses and facial expressions, showcasing exaggerated features, animated gestures, and costume details associated with classic Victorian interpretations of the literary figure. Signed lower right and inscribed "Scrooge" beneath the central figure. Paul Coker Jr. was an American illustrator, animator, and character designer best known for his long association with MAD Magazine and for developing memorable character designs for numerous animated television specials.
