Lou Reineri 1991 Ring-Neck Working Decoy Outstanding hand-carved and painted ring-neck drake working decoy by recognized carver Lou Reineri. Features a graceful low-head feeding pose, glass eyes, hollow-carved body, layered wing and tail feather carving, and detailed paint. Underside is hand-marked Ring-Neck Working Decoy L. Reineri 1991.” Displays very well with light age wear. See pictures for details and condition. Louis “Lou” Reineri (1922–2019) was a respected decoy carver associated with Chincoteague, Virginia. He worked alongside noted carver Delbert “Cigar” Daisey and served as a judge at the Ward Foundation’s 1974 World Championship Wildfowl Carving Competition.
