They consist of a rod and piston housed in a cylinder, and when the pressure inside the cylinder is released, the rod moves outward, moving the object it is attached to. Also called gas shocks or gas struts, gas springs should be installed with the rod facing down to prevent the liquid inside the cylinder from drying out. ****** IMPORTANT NOTE ******* By bidding on this lot you hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms: * We do not guarantee the packaging or box of any item. * We don’t expect anyone to pay for an item that is not as represented, however we ask that you preview items prior to bidding. * Minor issues such as scuffs or minor scratches will not be warranted. * Larger items or chemicals may not be eligible for shipping, especially international. * International shipping is available, however we ask the customer to arrange their own shipping and send us a pre-paid label.
