Chinese Dual Sword Pair Vintage w/ Wood Scabbard +

Details: Authentic Chinese, “Longquan, Wang, Zhejiang Province Sword Workshop. With gorgeous, hand carved Black & Brass Dragon themed Wood Scabbard. Likely training sword replica of an antique Chinese "Oxtail Saber" Pair (late Qing Dynasty (19th century to early 20th century) (Niu Wei Shuang Dao). The Historical "Oxtail" Shape (Niu Wei Dao): “The blades replicate the civilian-style Niu Wei Dao, which became prominent across China in the 1800s. This set replicates a specialized military and martial arts innovation where two separate swords share a single scabbard. Each handguard is a half-circle (D-shape) rather than a full disc, The inner sides of the handles and grips are entirely flat. When placed flush against each other, they fit perfectly into the extra-wide mouth of the shared scabbard.” Dimensions: 28” (Blade Length), 4” x 2”, 35.5” (Total Sword),4” x 1.5”, 29” (Scabbard). Condition: Used. Wood Sheath/Scabbard in used condition. Scuffs around the piece and wood splitting. Swords themselves are slightly used due to cosmetic wear on the handles and blades, minor blade edge wear on one of two swords. Please review all photos for the most accurate depiction.
