Make: Savage Model: 99 Caliber: 300 Savage Action: Lever Barrel: 24 Bore: Bright Serial # 539297 Condition: Good Manufactured in 1949 as per serial number and code. Savage Model 99 chambered in .300 Savage is a classic American lever-action deer rifle built in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts. It features an innovative internal rotary magazine and a cartridge counter window, allowing safe use of pointed (spitzer) bullets unlike traditional tube-fed lever guns. It has a blued finish with some freckling and finish wear, a Tasco 4x32 scope mounted to the receiver, case colored lever, and a blade front sight. Includes a leather sling.
