Vintage Early 1900's E. Holmes Tow Truck / Wrecker - Steering Gear Clamp. This Holmes Steering Gear Clamp is in very good condition as pictured. It measures 10" long and 6" wide. An absolutely gorgeous and rare piece of E. Homes tow truck equipment history. This vintage cast iron clamp was used to lock the steering gear in place on a vehicle that was being towed. E. Holmes Sr. developed the first tow truck back in 1916 and the company is still in business today. See pictures for complete condition and description.
