This is a fascinating lot of 2 antique aqua glass umbrella inkwells dating to the 19th century. This primitive pair features unique geometric styling: a conical umbrella-shaped inkwell alongside a beautiful multi-faceted, paneled variant. Both vessels show authentic, heavily aged character, including a wonderful natural light-aqua coloration, crude glass textures, and historic surface patina. An exceptional addition for collectors of early American writing instruments, apothecary relics, or dug artifacts.
