The silicone gasket on the edge of the chamber provides a perfect seal when degassing, and the maximum rated vacuum up to 29 inHg at sea level. Installation is easy and doesn't require any special tools. Tighten the screws that hold the side vacuum gauges and valves in place, then start your work! It is recommended to degass with vacuum pump . Vacuum chamber kit can be used to degass silicones, epoxies, essential oils, and urethanes, etc. It is also suitable for wood stabilization and other experiments with volatile compounds. However, the acrylic crystal lid may crack with volitile compounds.
