A charming antique cedar chest from the E.R. Co. Forest Park Line, Forest Park, Illinois, featuring a black lacquered finish, cabriole legs with original casters, and a decorative oval brass escutcheon plate. The chest retains its original "Sealtite Lid" moth-proof cedar lining label, patented November 4, 1924, helping date this piece to the 1920s. Cedar interior is in good condition. Exterior finish shows wear and chipping consistent with age, including a chip to the escutcheon plate and finish loss on one foot — sold as-is in vintage condition. A wonderful storage piece with real history and craftsmanship. Length- 45 Height- 21 Width- 19 1/2
