Antique Seth Thomas wind-up mantel clock featuring an ornate black architectural case with faux onyx columns, decorative gold-tone dial surround, Roman numeral face and incised scrollwork. Dial is marked “Seth Thomas” and “Manufactured in the United States of America.” Mechanical clock features two winding points for the time and strike mechanisms and includes the winding key shown. Attractive late Victorian/turn-of-the-century style with decorative columns and substantial mantel-size case. Shows age-related wear, including surface marks and finish loss consistent with age.
