Seller: Kolbie Kaelin Group Affiliation: Biggs 4-H Species: Sheep Dear Prospective Buyer, My name is Kolbie Kaelin, and I am a proud member of Biggs 4-H. This year, I have spent the past several months raising and caring for my home grown market lamb Gilbert for the Butte County Fair and Livestock Auction. Through this project, I have learned responsibility, patience, dedication, and the value of hard work, Every day, I feed, exercise, groom, and care for Gilbert to help him grow and be ready for the fair. Raising market and breeding sheep has been a rewarding experience, and I am proud of the effort I have put into my project. I will be showing Gilbert in the market show and six of his siblings in the breeding sheep show on August 27th. Gilbert will be sold in the livestock sale on August 29th at 10:00AM. If you cannot make the sale BidCal will be offering an online format. Gilbert should weigh 150 pounds on sale day. I would like to invite you and others to support my project by attending the Butte County Fair Livestock Auction. Taking place on Saturday August 29th. By purchasing an animal at the auction, you are not only buying a quality livestock project, but you are also investing in local youth and helping 4-H members like me develop valuable life skills through agriculture.
