Seller: Wade Grutter Group Affiliation: Palermo 4-H Species: Sheep Dear Friends and Colleagues, My name is Wade Grutter and I'm a 3rd year member of the Palermo 4-H club. I would like to invite you to the 2026 Butte County Fair Online & In-Person Junior Livestock Auction Saturday, August 29th – 10 AM McClanahan Pavilion, Butte County Fairgrounds, Gridley CA. Don’t forget the Buyers Breakfast: Saturday, August 29th – 8 AM I will be showing my market lamb, Spiess. You might ask about my lamb's name; it's the street name of the breeder of my lamb. The person that bred my lamb is also the daughter of my mom’s longtime 4-H friend. This is my first year raising a market show lamb. I have learned a lot about feeding, grooming and showing. Like most 4-H kids, I stay busy with many activities outside of my show animals. This year, I served as the club reporter and participated in cooking, leadership, rabbits, sheep, livestock skill-a-thon, and archery. In July, I attended 4-H camp. Outside of 4-H, I was in the Golden Hill Elementary student diversity club and participated in one of the largest karate tournaments on the West Coast, The Yoshida Cup in Gresham, Oregon, where I earned gold in Advanced sparring. This year, I also played Upward Bound Basketball. For the summer I have also been participating in the Jr. Giants Program. I also mow lawns and ride my dirt bike on the jumps my dad built for my brother and me. Thank you for your consideration and support. Without it, we would not be able to keep this tradition going.
