Seller: Julian Connolly Group Affiliation: Manzanita 4-H Species: Swine Hello, My name is Julian, and I am 14 years old. This is my 5th year in the Manzanita 4-H group where I am active in the community service, meat goat, and swine projects. I have had the privilege of serving the club as Historian this past year and previously as the Healthy Living Officer the previous two years. This year I was also chosen to help represent Butte County 4-H as a County Ambassador. I look forward to serving the club again this coming year as the Historian and continuing to serve the Butte County 4-H as an ambassador. I have learned so much this past year about leadership, and I am excited to keep learning and supporting my peers wherever possible.This year.l have worked on improving both my goat and swine projects which have included my Boer Goat breeding project and now my swine breeding project. I would like to invite you out to the Butte County Fair for the hogshow on August 27th and the Junior LivestockAuction on the 29.th I brought my pig Peanut home in December of last year and have had so much fun working with him and getting to know him. He has challenged me to work harder in my personal ability to improve showmanship skills. While this has been difficult, it has also proved to be very rewarding. I have taken Peanut to as many practice shows as I could find this year and am excited to see how we do at theButte County Fair. Your support means so much to me, whether it's there to cheer me on ringside at the show or in the auction ring.
