This year, I raised my own pen of purebred Californian rabbits that I bred myself! My favorite part of the project was being involved from day one. I took care of the doe, prepared the nest box, and performed daily health checks on the kits when they were born. Every day since, I have fed, watered, checked, and handled my rabbits to ensure they are healthy, well-cared for, and ready for show. Purchasing my market pen or contributing an Add-On donation directly supports my hard work. My auction earnings will help cover my feed expenses, purchase school clothes, and help me buy new cages, feeders, and equipment so I can expand to a meatier breed next year!
