Gimbal mounted, housed in brass bowl, in brass banded wooden case, with brass handles and escutcheon. Velvet lined lid lifts to reveal chronometer under glass. Second tier lifts to access chronometer. Exceptional piece in excellent condition. Untested. 7" x 7" x 7.5"H.
