Handmade Round Green and Red Wood Ashtray $130

Updated August 20, 2026

Handmade Round Green and Red Wood Ashtray $130 This exquisite handmade round wood ashtray is a true testament to artisanal craftsmanship, featuring a striking dual-tone aesthetic that commands attention. Priced at $130, the piece showcases a vibrant emerald green rim that beautifully contrasts against a deep, rich crimson red interior basin. The natural wood grain remains visible through the stain, lending an organic texture to the sleek, polished finish. It is thoughtfully designed with four precision-cut notches to securely hold cigars or cigarettes, making it as functional as it is decorative. A unique feature of this specific item is its construction from laminated wood layers, visible along the inner walls, which adds structural durability and a mesmerizing topographical visual effect. Perfect as a high-end gift or a sophisticated centerpiece for a lounge or office, this one-of-a-kind ashtray combines bold modern color with timeless woodworking techniques. Condition: This ashtray appears to be in excellent, unused condition with no visible charring, cracks, or significant abrasions. The vibrancy of the green and red dyes suggests it has been stored away from direct sunlight. Mint: Not applicable, as this is a contemporary handmade wood craft rather than a minted coin. Metal Content: Zero; the item is constructed entirely of wood, likely a laminated or dyed hardwood turned on a lathe. Historical Context: This is a modern artisanal piece reflecting late 20th to early 21st-century woodturning techniques where multi-colored plywood or dyed veneers are layered and shaped to create psychedelic or geometric patterns. Collector Value: Moderate for enthusiasts of functional folk art or "tramp art" styles; however, the $130 price point is on the high end of the market for anonymous modern woodturning. Strike Type: Not applicable to woodwork. Grading: Ungraded, as there is no formal third-party grading body for modern wooden ashtrays; it would be classified by a dealer as "near-new." ashtray, wooden, bowl, circular, green rim, red center, handcrafted, sticker, number, smoking accessory, top view, craft, wood grain, decorative, colorful wooden ashtray, handmade wood bowl, green and red decor, rustic home accessories, round wood ashtray, artisan woodcraft, unique smoking gift, vintage style ashtray, painted wood decor, decorative tobacco bowl Bidder is fully responsible for: - Determining what an item is worth to you - Evaluating the condition and authenticity of items - Making informed bidding decisions The auction house does explicitly not: - Provide appraisals - Grade items - Authenticate items - Test items - Third-Party Grading is that of the 3rd party and not done by us -Gold, Silver, Platinum, Copper, Gold-Gilded, Gold layered or Silver Plated, Electic Plating, The Metal Content or purity is not guaranteed, tested, or verified.
