The coin is presented in a protective white 2x2 cardboard flip, marked with its catalog reference for easy identification. 1973 Greece 1 Drachma Copper-Nickel KM 98 King Constantine II Phoenix Coin Condition: The coin appears to be in Extremely Fine (XF) to About Uncirculated (AU) condition, showing sharp details in the hair of King Constantine II and the feathers of the Phoenix. There is light surface wear consistent with brief circulation and minor toning on both the obverse and reverse. The luster is still visible beneath a light patina. It is struck at the Athens Mint and composed of copper-nickel. Historically, this coin was issued during the final year of the Greek military junta (1967–1974) and features the emblem of the regime, the Phoenix rising from flames, on the reverse. The obverse depicts King Constantine II, who was in exile at the time. This is a standard business strike and has not been professionally graded by a third-party service.
