2007 ITALY 1 EURO CENT COPPER COIN KM# 210 2007 Italy 1 Euro Cent Copper Plated Steel Coin KM# 210 Castel del Monte This 2007 Italy 1 Euro Cent circulation coin features the Castel del Monte, an octagonal 13th-century citadel in the Apulia region of southeast Italy. The coin is composed of copper plated steel, giving it a distinct reddish copper appearance. The obverse showcases the intricate architecture of the castle surrounded by the twelve stars of the European Union and the R mint mark for the Mint of Rome. The reverse displays the common European face of the 1 cent denomination next to a globe showing Europe in relation to Africa and Asia.
