Vintage Schatz 400-day torsion/anniversary clock manufactured by Aug. Schatz & Söhne, Germany. Features a brass-tone rectangular glass case, decorative roof, Roman numeral dial, ornate hands, and rotating four-ball pendulum. The dial is marked “Schatz,” “400,” and “Made in Germany,” while the case is marked “AUG. SCHATZ & SÖHNE – MADE IN GERMANY.” This is a recognizable German clockmaker and makes the piece more desirable than an unmarked anniversary clock. Condition shows age-related tarnish/oxidation and dust. Untested.
